Thomas A. Shaw Thomas Shaw has had a distinguished 26 year business career as a corporate executive and professional consultant in the human side of enterprise. His consulting clients have included such Fortune 500 organizations as Exxon, Merck and Philips Electronics. He was characterized by one CEO as, 'The only individual I know who can single-handedly turn around the culture of a company and transform it into a high performance organization.'

He is a novelist as well as a non-fiction writer, with credentials that include co-authorship of a copyrighted business book on organizational development.

He has seen, first-hand, the debilitating impact of stress on individuals as well as organizations in the business world. Stress which, on more than one occasion, has been so extreme as to become a causative factor in tragic suicides.

Tom attended Indiana University where he earned his degree in Psychology, and undertook his Master's work at Northwestern University. He also has a degree in Literature. He was a faculty member and lecturer in Management at Northwestern University for 5 years, and is a frequent speaker and workshop facilitator for numerous associations, professional groups, and major corporations.

He has three children: One daughter who is a teacher and author in the philosophy and discipline of Yoga. His second daughter is an artist in the field of theater design, and has designed the settings for numerous plays, operas, and films. His son is in the U.S. Army, and is currently serving his second tour in Iraq.

Tom is a fitness enthusiast and, among other things, engages actively in biking and tennis. He is also an avid reader with eclectic literary tastes.

He resides atop a wooded mountain outside of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, some fifty miles from Philadelphia. He is currently involved in two writing projects; a third novel and a non-fiction book.
